Our Story
We’re building a new generation of strong, smart, and bold leaders in over 350 cities across the United States and Canada.
Young Researchers Making an Impact!
At Girls Inc. of Memphis, we equip girls to lead and create change. In a powerful research project, our girls explored health equity in Memphis among the transient community, presenting their findings and recommendations for ensuring access to quality healthcare for all. 💡🏥
Their voices matter, and their work highlights the power of youth-driven change. Who says kids can’t make a difference?

Our Outcomes
We help girls gain the knowledge and skills to effect positive change in their lives. They become leaders who will change the world.
Our programming – in partnership with schools and at our centers – focuses on the development of the whole girl. A combination of long-lasting mentoring relationships, a pro-girl environment and research-based programming equips girls to lead fulfilling and productive lives, break the cycle of poverty and become role models in their community.

Impact Stories
Meet Lavine.
Lavine Dandridge says her favorite memorable moment at Girls Inc. came during one of the many talent shows held in the gym at the Lucille Devore Tucker Center when she and her sister won with a dance routine.

Girls Inc. of Memphis helped me position myself to be a change agent, especially as I grew older.
